Riverside Cottage
is an award winning conversion of a former early eighteenth century stable set in the picturesque village of Stiffkey in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottage is ideally situated to explore the stunning North Norfolk coastline as you are minutes from the coastal path leading to Stiffkey beach and 4 miles from both Wells/Holkham, and Blakeney where you can enjoy the beautiful beaches, sailing, bird watching, hiking, cycling or a trip out to visit the Seals. |

| This wonderful retreat consists of a well appointed one bedroom cottage, full of period charm, and antiques creating a lovely relaxing ambiance. The location is perfect with beautiful views overlooking the Home hills, and with the added bonus of its own private south-facing sundeck next to the river Stiffkey at the end if the garden where you can enjoy spectacular skies, sunsets and duck feeding! |

The cosy sitting-room painted in heritage colours is filled with vintage antique treasures, squashy comfy leather sofas bedecked in cushions set aside the fireplace with original Bressemer beam (faux wood-burner). There is a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV with built-in Freeview and DVD player. The owners have filled a dramatic gothic bespoke cupboard with books, CDS, and a complimentary DVD film library for cosy nights in... This idyllic country-cottage lounge affords the most spectacular views over to the hills and countryside beyond. French doors lead to a private graveled cottage-style south-facing garden meandering down to a glorious sun-deck overlooking the River Stiffkey.. Just off the sitting room is the newly fitted, well-equipped kitchen with double electric ovens and hob, fridge/freezer etc. |

| Upstairs there is a wonderfully-appointed romantic bedroom designed in a French country-house style with beautiful-aged painted furniture - an antique brass bed bedecked in crisp white Egyptian cotton sheets, dressed with sumptuous cushions and a quilted throw and a Freeview TV. The charming porthole window affords stunning views over the river and rolling countryside hills beyond. There is plenty of hanging space in the large wardrobe on the private landing. The shower room is fresh and light with wc and inset washbasin and powerful walk in shower. |

There is an open garage for guests use in the shared drive and the cottage is conveniently placed within easy walking distance of the wonderful village pub/eatery, village shop, antiques shop and the iconic Stiffkey lamp shop. The owners have recently received many accolades and awards for their former Guesthouse business, which was national winner, and regional winner in 2002/3/4 + 2005, so you will be in for a treat when you visit their wonderful Riverside cottage. |
